I have been doing photography for over 10 years and I truly love taking pictures.

I recently went back to school (NBCC) to further my education and learn how to market myself better, so I took Marketing. Under the guide of some amazing instructors and peers I have learned a great deal about business, entrepreneurship and marketing/advertising.

When it comes to photography I am all self taught, I picked it up fairly quickly as I sold cameras and had the opportunity to use, sell and promote them. I believe that photography is one of those jobs, if you want to call it a "job", that you do not need formal training. Some people have great eyes and creative ideas and this is me.

I love taking natural pictures, meaning that I prefer to limit my editing, because I believe the best photos are the ones that are at the moment of joy, happiness, laughter or whatever else makes a person be true.

However, I do love to edit photos with creative ideas. This could be taking a photo and changing some of the image to black and white or making it more vibrant and colorful.

I have had the opportunity to shoot live events like the ECMA's and local wrestling promotions. I have also shot two weddings, both friends/family and I did it for fun and get exposure. Other than that I am an avid nature/animal photographer. My dream is to shoot live games such as hockey, football or baseball.
